Eligibility Criteria
To get this scholarship, students must follow these eligibility criteria:
- A permanent resident of West Bengal is required.
- Class 11 and 12 students must have scored at least 60% marks in Madhyamik Pariksha.
- Undergraduate students need 60% in Higher Secondary (2021-2024 pass-outs) and 75% (2020 or earlier).
- Lateral entry in UG needs 60% in a diploma from AICTE or the State Medical Faculty.
- Postgraduate general courses require 53% in Graduation (Honours).
- Postgraduate engineering/technical need 55% in Graduation from a state or AICTE institute.
- M.Phil./Doctoral students are non-NET JRF or NET Lectureship in state institutions.
- Kanyashree K3 girls need 45% in UG studies.
- Annual family income must not cross Rs. 2.5 lakh (except Kanyashree K3).
- Only regular-mode courses in West Bengal institutions are accepted.
- Other government scholarships cannot be taken for the same course.
Note: Students studying in boards outside West Bengal are not eligible for the Higher Secondary scholarship.
