Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for applying under this program is given below:-
- The student must be a member of the Scheduled Tribe as defined by the State or Union Territory to which they truly belong (Domicile State).
- The student must have passed the Board of Secondary Education’s or a recognised university’s matriculation, higher secondary, or any other higher examination.
- The total annual family income of a student should not surpass rupees 2.50 lakh.
- The student must have a current Schedule Bank account that is connected to both their mobile number and Aadhar.
- No other scholarships should be awarded to the student.
- Scholarships shall be awarded for the study of post-matriculation/post-secondary courses that are approved by the relevant approving authority and are taken at the following types of colleges, universities, and institutions.
