The Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust (Trust) is steadfast in its commitment to empowering young people by providing them with the chance to pursue higher education, particularly for female students. The Trust established a merit-cum-means scholarship program to support students from a variety of socioeconomic situations who want to continue their education after the 12th grade. The program fully pays tuition expenses (based on the chosen institute’s fee structure). Students enrolled in selected colleges and universities in the Ludhiana area who are pursuing three to five-year undergraduate or integrated master’s degrees in the fields of commerce, engineering, or medicine are eligible for the award. This scholarship’s winners will be referred to as Satya Scholars. In this article we will provide you all the information about this program.
Motive of Satya Scholarship Program
The motive of the Satya Scholarship is launched to provide scholarship to the female students. The Trust wants to foster talent, encourage aspirations, and provide worthy students with the opportunity to pursue their education with dignity and confidence by offering this scholarship. The target beneficiaries of this program are female students. This Program will work for the empowerment of the female students and will empower them by providing them the chance to pursue higher studies. The program will cover the expenses for any kind of career which will be chosen by the applicant.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for applying under this program is given below:-
- The applicant must reside in India and be an Indian citizen.
- The combined annual income of parents should not be more than rupees 5 lakh.
- The guardian’s income shouldn’t be more than rupees 5 lakh in the case of orphan students.
- Students from a few colleges and universities (Institutes) in the Ludhiana district who are enrolled in three to five-year undergraduate or integrated master’s (eligible) programs in commerce (BBA, BCom), engineering (BTech, B.E. (all streams), B.Sc. (Engineering), BCA, B. Arch), and medicine (MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Sc. (Nursing), B.Sc. (Paramedics) may apply. (Enclosed is a list of chosen academic institutions.)
- Girls, athletes at the state, national, and international levels, people with disabilities, orphans, and children of single parents are given preference.
- To continue receiving the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 6 or 60%, 75% attendance, and good behaviour.
Financial Benefits
The program will offer the 100 Percentage Scholarship and will cover all the expenses related to the course or degree.
