The Government of India has launched the PM Yasasvi Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students Andaman and Nicobar 2025. Are you also a student of the Andaman and Nicobar Union Territory and want to pursue your post-metric education, but cannot due to financial difficulties? Then worry not, the authority has introduced a new scholarship for you. Under this scholarship, the students have been divided the students into 3 groups, and financial assistance will be given according to the group of students. The students must fill out the application form before the last date and avail the benefits of the scholarship.
Objective of Pm Yasasvi Post Matric Scholarship Scheme For Obc Students
The main objective of launching the scholarship is to allow the financially unstable students to pursue higher education without any difficulty. all students who belong to the OBC category or are eligible to avail of the scholarship benefits. The scholarship will significantly reduce the dropout rate among students after they complete their 12th-grade examination. Along with the financial assistance, the students will also receive a freeship card, which will allow them to get admission into any institute without paying pre-tuition fees. The scholarship will significantly enhance the quality of education among the students who cannot afford proper education.

Eligibility Criteria
- The students must be Indian nationals and domiciled in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands
- The students must belong to the Other Backward Classes (OBC).
- The students must be studying a post-matriculation or post-secondary course in a recognised institution/college/university (as specified in the terms & conditions section below).
- The students must have passed matriculation or higher secondary or any higher level examination from a recognised University or Board of Secondary Education.
- The students must have an annual income of less than INR 2.5 lakh.

Application Process
- STEP 1: All the students who want to avail the benefits of the PM Yasasvi Post Matric Scholarship Scheme For OBC Students are requested to visit the NSP website.
- STEP 2: Once the students reach the homepage of the official website, they must locate and click on the option called “register”.
- STEP 3: A guideline form will appear on your desktop screen. The citizens must read carefully and scroll down, and click on the option “next”.
- STEP 4: A new page will appear on your desktop screen. The students must enter their mobile number and OTP that they have received on the registered mobile number.
- STEP 5: The students must enter the captcha code and click on the option “verify” to move on to the next page.
- STEP 6: Now, the students must complete the eKYC process by entering the details that are asked for and clicking on the option “next”.
- STEP 7: Now, on the last page, the students must enter all the additional details, including their address, education, and bank account details.
- STEP 8: After entering all the details, the students can click on the “submit” to complete their process.
