The West Bengal State government has launched the NMMSE Scholarship WB 2025. To allow the meritorious students of West Bengal State to pursue higher education without any financial difficulty, the authorities have introduced the scholarship. To avail the benefits of this scholarship, the students will have to go through a Scholarship exam that will allow them to showcase their skills. All the students who will get selected under the scholarship after scoring wonderful marks in the scholarship test will receive financial assistance of INR 12000 annually. The students must visit the official website and fill out the application form before the last date, which is 9th September 2025.
Objective of NMMSE Scholarship
The main objective of launching the scholarship is to allow the financially unstable students but you higher education without any financial difficulty. The scholarship will analyse the education of the students and allow them to showcase their knowledge to gain a scholarship amount. Only the students of class VIII who have secured 55% or above marks in the final examination of class VII are eligible to appear in the NMMSE exam. The students will have to go through to scholarship test, including an aptitude test and a mental ability test, to avail the benefits of the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
- The students must have scored at least 55% marks or above in their final examination of class 7th.
- The students must be studying in recognized Government Schools/Government Aided Schools/Local Body and Government Sponsored Schools including Madrasah without residential facilities.
- The annual income of the student’s family must not exceed INR 3.5 lakh.
- The student must be meritorious.
