The Government of Kerala under the Ministry of Minority Affairs has launched the Margadeepam Scholarship Form. Under the scholarship, financial assistance will be provided to the students of classes 1st to 8th to complete their higher education without worrying about any financial hurdles. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the students belonging to minority communities such as Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, and Parsi. About Margadeepam Scholarship

Margadeepam Scholarship was launched by the government of Kerala to provide this scholarship opportunity to the students of Kerala. Under this scholarship, financial assistance will be provided to the students who are studying in government-aided Schools. All the students are permanent residents of Kerala and belong to minority communities such as Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, and Parsi. Under this scholarship, 30% of the seats are reserved for the girls. The boys will be considered if there is no eligible female candidate left. All the applicants who have cleared the eligibility criteria can easily apply under this scholarship before the last date, 9th March 2025.

Objective of Margadeepam Scholarship

The main objective of the Margadeepam Scholarship is to provide the scholarship opportunity to the students of classes 1st to 8th. With the help of this scholarship, the student will be able to pursue higher education without worrying about any financial hurdles. All the students who have cleared the eligibility criteria can easily apply for the scholarship before the last date. The benefits of this scholarship will be provided to the student whose annual family income should not exceed more than INR 1 lakhs per annum.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must be a student of Kerala 
• An applicant must be long to a minority community such as Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi
• An applicant must be studying from class 1st to 8th in a government-aided school in Kerala
• The annual family income should not exceed more than INR 1 lakhs per annum
• The 30% of this scholarship will be reserved for the girls 
• Two Students per family will be able to avail the benefit of this scholarship.
