Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JBNSTS Senior Scholarship, the applicant needs to meet the following eligibility criteria’s which are as listed below:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of
- of West Bengal.
- Applicant must be a student who has passed (10+2 examination (WBCHSE/ CBSE/ISC/ Visva-Bhari Board) in the year 2025.
- Applicant must be studying/aspiring to study Science (Hons.)
- Subjects acceptable under the scope of DST- Inspire Scholarship)
- General & Diploma, Nursing course students are not eligible to apply for the same.

Exam Pattern
To apply for the JBNSTS Senior Scholarship, student needs to keep in mind the following examination pattern:
- Duration of Exam:- Senior Talent Search Test is a 3-hour duration examination
- Total Marks:- The test contains a total of 100 marks.
- No. of Sections:- The test paper contains a total of 2 sections, the first is Section’ & the second is Section ‘B’.
- Marks Distribution Pattern (Part 1):- Section A carries 75 Marks [Questions from 3 subjects out of 4 subjects(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) are to be answered. From each subject, answer 5 questions, out of 8 given questions (each carrying 5 marks), i.e., 25 marks *3 subjects = 75 marks
- Marks Distribution Pattern (Part 2):- Section B carries 25 Marks [Questions from 1 subject out of 4 subjects(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) are to be answered. Answer 1 question out of 4 given questions (each carrying 25 marks). There may be multiple parts within the question.
