This scholarship is made to find and help talented students so they can do better in science and technology. Students who get this scholarship are given Rs. 4000 every month for 4 or 5 years until they finish their course. They also get Rs. 5000 every year to buy books. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are as follows:
- Only Indian nationals are allowed to apply for this scholarship.
- The student must have passed or appeared in 10+2 board exams in the year 2025.
- The accepted boards are WBCHSE, CBSE, ISC, or Visva-Bharati Board.
- It is required that the student is studying or planning to study Science (Hons.) under the DST-Inspire scholarship.
- Students who study General, Diploma, or Nursing courses are not eligible for this.

For Junior Scholars:
The Junior Talent Search Test for Junior Scholars is a 2-hour exam with a total of 90 marks. Questions come from three subjects, which include Physical Science, Life Science, and Mathematics, and each subject has 30 marks.

Note: Students must answer 6 questions from each subject, each question carries 5 marks. There may be multiple parts within some questions. No optional questions will be given.
For Senior Scholars:
The Senior Talent Search Test is a 3-hour exam with a total of 100 marks. Questions come from four subjects, which include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biolog,y and the exam is divided into two sections based on these subjects.
Exam Structure:
Section A (75 Marks):
- Students must answer questions from 3 subjects out of 4 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology). From each chosen subject, 5 questions must be answered out of the 8 provided questions. Each question carries 5 marks. (3 subjects x 25 marks each = 75 marks)
Section B (25 Marks):
- Students choose 1 subject out of the 4 and answer 1 question out of 4 given questions. This question carries 25 marks and may contain multiple parts.
