Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) today announced the HAL Endowment Scholarship Scheme 2025, a first-of-its-kind CSR initiative. This programme has been launched in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) to assist deserving students from socioeconomically disadvantaged groups. Over the following four years, 40 students will receive financial aid from HAL as part of the program. After that, for the following 15 years, 40 students will be supported annually. Along with other programs in the areas of education, skill development, the environment, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and sports, the Endowment Scheme is a component of the company’s larger CSR commitment. Objective of HAL Endowment Scholarship Scheme
The primary objective of HAL Endowment Scholarship Scheme is to provide financial assistance and various benefits to the students for studying various fields in engineering. Students from economically disadvantaged families who are enrolled in IIT Madras’ four main engineering programs—aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, and metallurgical engineering—will benefit from the scholarship. HAL is empowering and unlocking the potential of worthy children from disadvantaged circumstances while promoting academic performance.
