To provide a learning experience in various government departments to fresh graduates or graduating students of India the Government of India along with Bharat Digital has launched the Bharat Digital Fellowship Program. Under this Fellowship, the authorities will invite undergraduate, freshly graduated, or PhD students and introduce them to work alongside government professionals. This initiative offers fellowships in various departments including user research, UX design, cyber security, data analysis, data science, and full-stack development. Objective of the Bharat Digital Fellowship Program
The main objective of launching the program is to allow freshly graduated or graduating students to get real-world experience by working alongside professionals. The students can gain exponential knowledge and learn how to work in a government department. The selected citizens will have to work on government projects aiming to enhance the lives of the citizens of India. The fellows will also get mentorship from their seniors and have regular meetings to share knowledge and other important information. The selected fellows will also receive a monthly stipend of INR 40,000 from Bharat Digital. The duration of the fellowship is approximately 2.5 months ranging from May to July.
