A new scholarship program has been started by Assam Royal Global University for the children of CRPF personnel so that good education can be given and also to honour the brave works of their parents who served the country with courage. The agreement paper was signed on Monday by university officer Dr. D. N. Singh and CRPF officer Soma Mukherjee while other important persons like DIG Manas Ranjan and some senior officers were also seen there. Two types of scholarships were there: Royal Shaurya, which gives full free studies to families of brave soldiers who got medals or died, and Royal Suraksha, where half tuition fees will be helped for other CRPF children. The courses must be allowed by groups like AICTE or BCI.
Assam Royal Global University
Assam Royal Global University, which is a private university in Guwahati, Assam, was made by the Assam State Legislature and is also approved by UGC and AICTE so the courses offered there are allowed by important education groups. Many types of programs are being given by the university, like undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, diploma and certificate, and these are taught in different subjects like engineering, arts, humanities and others that are useful. Around 27 schools are there inside the university where these programs are taught and students can choose what they like. Motive of RGU CRPF Personnel Scholarship
The main objective of the RGU CRPF Personnel Scholarship is to give support in education to the children of CRPF soldiers and also to show respect for the brave duty done by their parents who served the nation with courage and sometimes even gave their lives. Royal Shaurya Scholarship
The main aim of the Royal Shaurya Scholarship is to support the families of brave military and paramilitary personnel who have shown great courage and have sacrificed their lives or received gallantry awards, and this was started by Royal Global University to make sure their children can study without paying any tuition fees. A full 100% fee waiver is given under this scholarship so that no money problem can stop them from learning, and their bravery is being honoured by giving this big help for education.
Royal Suraksha Scholarship
The main aim of the Royal Suraksha Scholarship is to give 50% tuition fee support to the children of CRPF personnel so they can study in a good university without facing big money problems, and this scholarship was started by Royal Global University after a special MoU was signed with CRPF to make it official. It was also done to respect the hard work and sacrifices of the CRPF force, and by giving this help, the university wants to make higher education easier for their families who serve the nation every day.

Royal Shaurya
- The student should be a ward of Military, Paramilitary, or North-East Police personnel who has either lost life while fighting with militants, naxals, terrorists or any anti-social group, or has died while doing his government duty honestly, or has received a gallantry award, and proper proof must be shown during admission.
- The student must have passed 10+2 for UG courses or graduation for PG courses as per what is needed for that programme.
- A full freeship will be given which means 100% of tuition, admission and registration fee will be paid by the university, but the hostel or transport charges will not be covered and have to be paid fully by the student.
Royal Suraksha
- The student must be a ward of serving or retired Military, Paramilitary or Police personnel from North-Eastern states, and documents must be submitted to prove it.
- The student should have passed 10+2 for UG or graduation for PG as needed for the course chosen, and only if that is matched, the scholarship will be given.
- Under this, 50% of the tuition fee will be given by the university but admission, registration, hostel and transportation charges must be paid completely by the student.
- This scholarship may not be allowed for some courses that are controlled by bodies like AICTE, BCI, INC, PCI, COA or others who make education rules.
