Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the AICTE Swanath Scholarship are as given below:
- The student should be either an orphan or their parents died because of COVID-19, or their parents were martyred in the army or police fight, or their parent is very sick, like cancer, or badly disabled in an accident.
- The family income should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh in one year, and an income certificate must be shown from the government.
- The student must be studying in an AICTE-approved college in a diploma or degree course in any year from the 1st to the 4th year.
- The student should not get any other scholarship from the central, state, or AICTE.

Financial Benefits
The financial benefits under the AICTE Swanath Scholarship are given below:
- Rs. 50,000 per year is given for each year of study as a lump sum.
- Maximum 4 years for Degree students who join in the first year and 3 years for Diploma students.
- This money is used for college fees, a computer, books, stationery, software, and other things needed for study.
- No extra money is given for hostel or medical fees.

No of Scholarship
- Every year, up to 2000 scholarships will be given, with 1000 for Degree students and 1000 for Diploma students.
Selection Process
The selection process for the AICTE Swanath Scholarship is explained below:
- For Degree students, selection is done by marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent exam from AICTE-approved colleges.
- If two or more students have the same marks, then the marks in the 10th exam are checked, and the student with higher marks is given a higher rank.
- If a tie still happens, then the elder studentโs age is considered, and he or she is ranked higher.
- If the tie is not broken yet, then the student from a family with lower income is selected for the scholarship.
- For Diploma students, selection is done by marks scored in the 10th or equivalent exam from AICTE-approved colleges.
- If a tie happens between two or more students, then the elder student is given higher preference based on age.
- If a tie still continues, then the student whose family income is lower will be given the scholarship.

To Apply Online for AICTE Swanath Scholarship, please follow these below mentioned steps:
- Step 1: All the eligible applicants of the scholarship program have to visit the NSP Website to apply for the scholarship.

- Step 2: Once you reach the official website, on the homepage, click on the โStudentsโ option to proceed further for registration under the NSP portal.
- Step 3: You will be directed to another page where you have to click on the โLoginโ button under the โOTRโ section to proceed.

- Step 4: Then, on another page, you should select the โRegisterโ option to register yourself on the portal.
