The Central Sanskrit University has launched the Central Sanskrit University (CSU) Scholarship 2025-26. Are you also a student who is curious about the Sanskrit language and wants to pursue higher education in Sanskrit? Then, the central Sanskrit University has introduced a new scholarship for you. All the students who are studying in class 9th up to PhD level are eligible to avail the benefits of the scholarship. The financial assistance under the scholarship will be given to the students based on the education they are currently pursuing. The students can start sending their applications for the scholarship on 1st April 2025
Objective of Central Sanskrit University Scholarship
The main objective of launching the scholarship is to allow students who have an interest in Sanskrit to pursue higher education in the language. Scholarship will encourage the students and allow them to pursue their higher education in Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit. The financial assistance given under the scholarship will allow the students to study the Indian culture through the Sanskrit language. The scholarship will reduce the financial burden on the students who belong to the financially weak background, including SC, ST, and OBC categories.

Selection Process
- The students will be selected on the basis of their clearance of eligibility criteria.
- The students must have obtained eligible marks in Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit to be selected under the scholarship.
- A committee will be set up to recommend students, and the University will make the final decision.
- Ph.D. students must submit progress reports every year.

Application Process
- STEP 1: All the students who want to apply for the Central Sanskrit University (CSU) Scholarship are requested to visit the CSU website and fill out the application form online.
- STEP 2: Once the students reach the homepage of the official website, they must locate and click on the option called “apply now”.
- STEP 3: The application page will appear on your desktop screen the students must enter all the details that are asked and attach the required documents.
- STEP 4: After entering the details, the students can click on the option “submit” to complete their process.
