The main motive of NSP Pre Matric Financial Assistance is to provide financial assistance to the students whose parents are working in Beedi factories and other mineral mines. Students in classes 1 through 10 who choose to continue their education at any government school or university can receive financial assistance from the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. These students must be the offspring of employees in the industries of Mica Mines, Manganese Ore & Chrome Ore Mines, Beedi, Cine, or Limestone & Dolomite Mines. This program’s primary goal is to stop kids from working in dangerous jobs. Those who are chosen will get up to โ‚น2000 in annual cash aid.

Eligibility Criteria

A worker’s family’s monthly income from all sources should not exceed the following: 

  • Beedi Workers: โ‚น10,000/
  • Mine Workers: 

a) Mineworkers who perform manual, unskilled, highly skilled, and clerical labor are eligible to receive all benefits under the various welfare programs of the Labour Welfare Organization, regardless of their pay.

 b) Employees working in managerial and supervisory roles are qualified to receive benefits under various welfare programs, up to a monthly salary ceiling of โ‚น10,000.

 c) Cinema employees: The compensation for a cinema employee for this purpose is a sum of money that does not exceed โ‚น8,000/-per month if paid monthly or โ‚น1,00,000/-if paid in installments or as a lump payment. 

  • The latest qualifying exam must have been passed by the applicant on their first try.  
  • The students’ parents must be employed at Beedi, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, or Cine with at least six months of experience. 
  • This also applies to contract or Gharkhata (home-based) employees. 
  • The educational institution must be recognized by the government. 
  • Under this scheme, students who get stipends or scholarships from other sources will not be eligible. 
  • The Scholar must have a distinct bank account. 
  • The Scholar’s first name should appear on joint accounts. 
  • The same worker’s children should each provide a unique bank account number.

  • Step 1: Go to the NSP Website, select “New Registration.”

  • Step 2: There will be registration guidelines shown. Go to the bottom. Go over the undertaking attentively. Agree to the terms. Press “Continue.”
  •  Step 3: After completing the information, click “Register.” It will show your application ID and password. Additionally, an SMS will be sent to the registered cellphone number.
