- Students must be studying full-time in Class IX or X.
- Must belong to a Scheduled Caste (SC).
- The annual income of the student’s family must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh.
- For Pre-Matric Scholarship for children of parents/guardians in unclean or hazardous occupations:
- Students must be studying full-time in classes I to X.
- Parents/guardians can be from any caste or religion.
- Occupations include:
- Manual Scavengers (as per Manual Scavengers Act, 2013)
- Tanners and Flayers
