Motive of Progress Akanksha Scholarship

The Akanksha Scholarship, which was introduced in 2021, aims to provide a four-year renewable scholarship of up to rupees 1,50,000 annually, which is meant to cover tuition, fees, and other educational expenses. It is accessible to women living in India who are enrolled in the first year of undergraduate studies in computer science information technology (CSIT), computer science engineering (CSE), or similar subjects. Candidates should exhibit sincerity, perseverance, and leadership in addition to their intellectual ability.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying to this program are given below:-

• The applicant should be a female and a permanent resident of India.
• The applicant should be enrolled in the first year of college and majoring in computer science, Engineering (CSE), computer science Information Technology (CSIT), or related courses.
• The applicant should have secured 75 percent marks in the 12^th standard.
• The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed rupees 8,00,000.

Financial Assistance 

Under this program, the applicant will receive an annual scholarship of rupees 1,50,000.
