Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are as given below:
- The scholarship is being given only for those students who are doing their first Post Graduate (PG) degree and if anyone has already completed PG before, then they are not allowed to apply.
- It can be applied only by those students who have already taken admission in the first year of PG degree in any approved university or college which is recognised.
- In case of integrated courses, the scholarship is being given only for the PG part and not for the UG part which is done before.
- Students who are below 30 years on the date when they take admission in PG first year, only they are allowed for this scheme.
- This scholarship is being given only for students who study in regular or full-time PG courses and not for those who study by distance, private or part-time mode.
- It is available only for those students who are studying PG courses which are recognised and approved by UGC with proper duration and name of degree.

Step 1: All those applicants who are eligible for this Scholarship, should visit the NSP Website to proceed with the application process.

Step 2: At first, the applicants have to register themselves under the national scholarship portal before applying for the scholarship.
Step 3: To make registration, the applicant has to keep the documents ready and visit the homepage of the official website.
Step 4: On the homepage, you have to click on the โStudentsโ option to proceed further with the registration process.
Step 5: Then you will be directed to another page, where you have to click on the โLoginโ button which is present under the โOTRโ section.

Step 6: One more time you will be directed to another page, here you have to click on the โRegisterโ section to make the registration process start.
