AICTE Saksham Scholarship for Technical Degree
The All India Council for Technical Education provides an opportunity to disabled students to study in an AICTE-recognized institution for a Technical Degree. The applicant should be a permanent resident of India and should be disabled to receive the benefits of this Program. The applicants will receive an amount of rupees 50 thousand as a Scholarship under this Program. This Program will empower the students who are disabled and will encourage them to study for a brighter future.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for applying under this Program are given below:-
- The applicant should be disabled, and around 40 percent disability is required.
- A family’s annual income should not exceed rupees 8 lakhs.
- Students accepted into AICTE-approved institutions for undergraduate degree programs or courses.
- The students were accepted through lateral entry (LE) into any of the AICTE-approved institutions of their respective year, either in the first or second year of their degree program.
- Under this program, rupees 50,000 annually for each year of study, or a maximum of four years for first-year admitted students pursuing degrees and three years for those admitted through lateral entry, as a lump sum payment for costs such as tuition, computer purchases, stationery, books, equipment, software, etc.
AICTE Saksham Scholarship for Technical Diploma
The All India Council for Technical Education has launched this Program for disabled students. The applicants can apply for the Technical Diploma under this Program. The applicant will receive financial assistance under this Program. In addition to the financial assistance, the applicants will also receive practical experience from the experts under this Program. - The applicant should be disabled, and around 40 percent disability is required.

- There won’t be any more grants available to cover expenses for things like medical care and lodging.

- Annual income certificate of the family in the prescribed format issued by the Tehsildar or above above-competent authority
- Admission letter to the first year of degree/diploma course issued by the Centralised Admission Authority
- Receipt of tuition fee paid for the academic year
- Scanned copy of a duly signed and stamped bank passbook seeded with Aadhaar details showing the name and photograph of the student, IFSC code, and account number
- Applicant’s photograph and signature
- Aadhaar card
- Certificate issued by the Principal/Director/HOD in the prescribed format
- Certificate of disability issued by the competent authority as per the format specified by the State Government
- Scanned and attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificate (applicable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates)
