There is good news for the students, The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, is delighted to announce the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship Scheme (A1201) for the academic year 2025-26 at Indian universities/institutions. The ICCR A2A site for scholarships is scheduled to launch on February 20. Candidates have until April 30 to submit their scholarship registration forms, according to the official statement. After that, universities will have until May 31 to tell candidates of their choice.
- The Indian Mission overseas has until June 30th to allocate scholarships and produce offer letters. The offer letter must be accepted by the candidates by 15th June 2025
- The last date for Indian Missions to offer scholarships to additional students who were not considered in the first round and process will be finished on 1st July 2025.
- This is based on the number of acceptances in the first round (if acceptances are less than the scholarship seats allocated).

The objective of Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship
The main objective of the implementation of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship Scheme 2025 is to provide scholarships to students for pursuing Undergraduate or Postgraduate courses. The scheme is mainly for foreign students to visit our country and complete their studies. It will motivate them and also increase the educational aspect of our country.
